VACANCY NOTICE EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER
We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping colleagues, and help to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel.
*Key Responsibilities:
❉ Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, staff performance, and inventory usage for management review
❉ Supervise and train housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service
❉ Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
❉ Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely recording and cost-effectiveness
❉ Coordinating and maintaining a hands-on approach to the cleanliness and professional presentation of all accommodations and public areas of the hotel
❉ Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with quality standards
❉ Assist in budgeting and financial management related to housekeeping operations
❉ Managing all hotel wide aspects of laundry distribution and quality control
❉ Respond to guest inquiries and complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally
❉ Coordinate and schedule staff shifts to optimize coverage and productivity
❉ Mentoring subordinates for growth in accordance with the established succession plan of the hotel
❉ Overseeing, in conjunction with the maintenance team, a rigorous preventative maintenance and deep cleaning program for all guest rooms and public areas
❉ Any other tasks and duties as deemed appropriate by the General Manager
*The ideal candidate must have:
❉ An HND or degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from a reputable College/University.
❉ At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
❉ International exposure in a similar role is an added advantage.
❉ Strong organizational and leadership skills.
❉ Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
