Duties and Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Operations Director, the successful candidate shall inter-alia be responsible for the following:
- Develop processes to improve manpower allocation
- Ensure compliance with bus regulatory requirements and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, procedures, and regulations
- Evaluate contingency plans for managing incidents or accidents
- Formulate annual budgets required for the bus depot
- Implement improvement initiatives to enhance operations
- Lead recovery actions for incidents or accidents
- Manage external contractors to meet business requirements
- Manage staff performance to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor budgets and expenditure of the bus depot
- Oversee the maintenance of bus depot facilities
- Review bus dispatch plans to improve bus service route operations
- Review bus inspection plans
- Review improvement proposals for implementation
- Review the effectiveness of operations improvements
- Review traffic movement plans and review surveys for the bus depot
- Review training needs to implement training plans for staff development
- Verify accuracy of reports and investigation of outcomes for incidents or accidents
- Any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Transport and Logistics
- At least 5 years relevant experience in managerial position
- Experience as a mechanic is an added advantage
- Must be highly proficient in Enterprise Resource Package (ERP) system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

- Proven experience in depot, logistics and operations management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Strong understanding of compliance, good governance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
