Position Overview:
We are seeking a Finance Director to lead our financial strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting, with a passion for supporting the growth of the handicraft sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization’s mandate.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support program initiatives and funding.
- Manage financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the non-profit or cultural sector.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
