The National Handicraft Centre is a leading organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the handicraft industry in Zimbabwe.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, marketing, and business development, with a proven track record of strategic leadership and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the National Handicraft Centre.
- Lead cross-functional teams to enhance organizational performance and achieve goals.
- Oversee human capital management, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
- Drive marketing and business development initiatives to increase brand visibility and revenue.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and risk management policies.
- Foster partnerships with stakeholders and promote the handicraft industry nationally and internationally.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Digital Marketing or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Human Resources) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a relevant field.
- Proven expertise in strategic leadership, human capital management, and marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on research and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools.
Languages:
Fluent in Shona, Ndebele, and English.
