Key Responsibilities:
– Managing facility systems such as electrical distribution, backup power, diesel plant, mechanical installations, and HVAC.
– Ensuring optimal performance and uptime of critical systems.
– Overseeing capacity utilization, system resilience, and business continuity planning.
– Managing vendor contracts and service-level compliance.
– Leading operational planning and budgeting for CAPEX/OPEX.
– Driving workforce development and technical training.
– Evaluating and optimizing service delivery strategies.
– Enforcing quality control and minimizing system downtime.
Job Skills and Competencies:
– Ability to work under pressure.
– Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
– Integrity and commitment to duty.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications and Experience:
– Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering/Electronic Engineering.
– Six years of engineering experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
– Knowledge of preventive maintenance.
– Knowledge of power reticulation.
– Knowledge of standby power systems.
– Knowledge of heating, cooling and ventilation.
– Knowledge of standby power systems.
– Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
– Knowledge of baggage and mobile scanners is an added advantage.
– A clean Class 4 driver’s licence.
