Zachariah Capital Markets is seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst based in Zimbabwe. The role involves deal origination, structuring, and execution, with a focus on value creation in venture capital deals and strategic alternatives for clients.
Key Responsibilities
– Deal sourcing and structuring
– Valuation research
– Financial analysis and modeling
– Industry and capital markets research
– M&A consequences analysis
– Partnerships modeling (PPP, JVs, etc.)
– Due diligence investigations
– Business case development and feasibility analysis
– Investment and portfolio management
– Detailed memo and pitch preparation
– Participation in marketing and recruitment activities
– Client relationship and business development support
Qualifications
– Undergraduate degree (Finance/Accounting preferred)
– Minimum 2 years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance (focus on natural resources, energy, real estate, healthcare)
– Strong quantitative, writing, and interpersonal skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Professional Designations
– Progress towards financial certifications is an advantage
