Duties:
Maintain and develop the local customer base, ensuring Mega Save remains the preferred supplier of day-old chicks, feed, and other hardware products.
Visit existing and new clients to secure long-term partnerships.
Conduct customer visits to build relationships and promote hardware products.
Participate in buying groups, agriculture shows, farmer’s days, and auctions.
Monitor market changes and implement strategies to meet sales targets.
Assist customers with technical information and recommendations.
Check customer orders, complete sales quotations, and follow up on order processes.
Efficiently handle customer queries and claims.
Conduct day-old chicks sales projections and bookings.
Functional Competencies:
Sound understanding of animal nutrition and farming
Strong sales and marketing knowledge
Good understanding of logistical processes
Ability to work effectively independently
Qualifications and Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in agriculture-related studies preferred
At least 2 years of sales experience within the industry
Background in animal nutrition, feed nutrition, feed farming, and hardware products
