We are seeking a dynamic and trustworthy Loan Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for marketing loan products, assessing clients, disbursing loans, and ensuring timely repayments. You will play a critical role in maintaining portfolio quality and supporting financial inclusion in microbusiness communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and assess clients for loan suitability.
- Conduct business appraisals and cash flow analyses.
- Prepare and submit loan applications with due diligence.
- Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure timely loan repayments.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare regular performance reports.
- Monitor PAR (Portfolio at Risk) and take corrective actions when needed.
Requirements:
- A Diploma or Degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Studies, or related field.
- At least 1 year experience in microfinance or sales (loan experience preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
- Ability to ride a motorcycle (an added advantage).
