CeSHHAR Zimbabwe, a leader in public health and sexual & reproductive health research, is seeking a Project Coordinator (MSc) to lead the implementation of the HIGH Horizons study in Mt Darwin. This project is part of an international consortium addressing the health impact of heat exposure on women, infants, and health workers in sub-Saharan Africa and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Project Oversight & Compliance

Manage day-to-day implementation of the HIGH Horizons study

Maintain regulatory, ethical and training documentation
-
Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
🔹 Fieldwork & Community Engagement
-
Coordinate recruitment, informed consent and participant visits
-
Supervise field teams and site-based research
-
Foster relationships with MoHCC, local leaders, VHWs, HCWs, and community stakeholders
🔹 Data Management
-
Oversee accurate and timely data collection
-
Validate data for quality and integrity
-
Conduct regular field visits and spot checks
🔹 Leadership & Collaboration

Train and manage field research teams
-
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and reporting to the Principal Investigator

Draft study protocols, QA plans, and data collection tools
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field

Valid GCP Certification
-
5+ years in research project coordination
-
Prior experience managing field teams and engaging rural communities
-
Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods
