Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive to lead our freight operations strategy and client acquisition initiatives across Zimbabwe and the SADC region. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to drive business growth through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure and manage freight business contracts for both domestic and cross-border operations

• Maintain and grow strong client relationships

• Conduct periodic market research and present analytical business reports

• Represent the company at trade exhibitions and industry events

• Provide regular business performance and ad-hoc reports to the Managing Director

• Actively contribute to the organization’s strategic planning initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Transport and/or Logistics Management (required)

• Business-related tertiary qualification (added advantage)

• Minimum 10 years of traceable experience in the Freight/Logistics industry

• Knowledge of Zimbabwe and SADC freight forwarding processes, documentation, and regulatory frameworks

• Familiarity with Beira Port customs and clearing procedures

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

• Valid Class 4 driver’s license

• Age: 35–45 years

• Strong professional references required
