CURE International is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Officer to join our team in Bulawayo. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and supporting all IT systems, devices, networks, and Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) that enable the delivery of exceptional pediatric healthcare aligned with CURE’s mission.

Key Responsibilities
Technology Deployment & Provisioning

Deploy and support LANs, WANs, remote access systems, and secure network infrastructure

Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, and mobile devices

Set up and manage printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, and other technology endpoints

Document configurations and maintain deployment procedures

Create, update, and manage user accounts and access controls

Promote cybersecurity, backup procedures, and IT best practices
Technology Maintenance & Support

Provide comprehensive support for enterprise applications (EMR, HR, finance, inventory systems)

Monitor daily system performance and ensure uptime of servers, networks, and devices

Manage data security, perform regular backups, and ensure disaster recovery systems are in place

Administer updates, patch systems, and conduct vulnerability assessments

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly and keep users informed with regular updates

Archive and purge data as needed to maintain system efficiency
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT support, systems administration, or information management
Skills & Competencies

Deep understanding of Microsoft Windows, Linux, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications

Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems administration, and networking

Excellent communication skills and ability to train end-users in simple, clear terms

High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Demonstrated problem-solving, documentation, and technical troubleshooting capabilities
-
Google Workspace administration experience is a strong advantage
