Job Description
The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the following posts in the Faculty of Business and Economic Sciences: –
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates should be able to research and teach at least two courses in: Accounting, Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting and Advanced Financial Accounting at undergraduate and Investment Analysis and Fund Management at postgraduate level. In addition, the successful candidates will be expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and theses.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should hold a good honours degree in Accounting and a Masters degree in Accounting and Finance from a recognised institution. Candidates with tertiary or university teaching experience will have an added advantage. The candidate should have a demonstrable commitment to collaborative teaching, research and innovative curriculum design and development. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at least two modules on the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree in Accounting and one module in MSc in Accounting and Finance. The incumbent should possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving, analytical skills and should be willing to study towards a PhD.
