Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team in Hwange as a Mining Engineering Graduate Trainee.
Duties and Responsibilities
– Assist in mine planning, design, and scheduling.
– Conduct site visits to gain practical experience and understanding of mining operations.
– Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
– Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other tools.
– Collaborate with other departments, including geology, engineering, and operations.
– Participate in safety and risk management processes.
– Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practice
– Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with mining regulations at all times.
– Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications and Experience
1. Recent graduate with a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related or any other related qualification.
2. Strong understanding of mining engineering principles and practices.
3. Proficient in mining software, including CAD, mine planning, and simulation tools.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Ability to work in demanding environments and adapt to changing priorities. Willingness to travel and relocate to various mining locations as needed.
