Job Description
We are looking to give students studying towards IT qualifications at certificate or diploma level opportunities to gain real-world industrial exposure and experience while fulfilling their Work Related Learning (WRL) requirements in the process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Students will be assigned duties in the IT department.
These duties include:
• Installation of computer hardware, software, and networks.
• Installation and configuration of business solutions.
• Troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and network issues.
• Computer hardware repairs and servicing.
• Computer software repairs.
• Installation of security systems.
• Sales and customer service.
• Customer relationship management.
Qualifications and Experience
Students must be:
• Studying towards an IT qualification – Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Networking, or Computer Hardware at a polytechnic in Zimbabwe.
Please note that most modern IT courses such as AI, ML, IoT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or Informatics are outside the scope of our business therefore will not be
considered. Students at universities WILL NOT be considered for these positions hence, they need not apply.
• Residents of Harare. Those who live closer to the city centre will have an added advantage.
• Well-groomed and excellent with people.
• Expected to be on attachment or work-related learning from January 2025 to December 2025
