Job Description
Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation is a major player in the Zimbabwean Mining Industry and a key contributor to the growth of the Zimbabwean economy through mining and mining development. The Corporation has the following exciting, fixed term opportunities that have arisen at our Golden Kopje Mine (Chinhoyi).
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Assist in formulating SHERQ Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist in formulating, monitoring and reviewing the Emergency Response Plan
• Conducting SHERQ induction for all site visitors and new employees
• Facilitating continuous SHERQ related training for all employees
• Monitoring adherence and enforcement of SHERQ Policies and Procedures
• Coordinating SHERQ Programmes
• Ensuring compliance with statutory SHERQ related legislation
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
• Degree in Geography and Environmental Health or Equivalent
• 5 O level passes
• 5 years working experience
