Job Description
A local and established company is looking for a self motivated and ambitious Junior Architect/Assistant Engineer to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Present drawings and concepts for construction project
• Work with consulting architects and engineering drawings for construction project
• Assist customers to customize pre-approved drawings to individual stands
• Work with Council Inspectors to ensure building is in compliance with local rules and regulations.
• Compile needed construction and snagging reports.
• Work with service providers as required by the company from time to time including soil tests and structural tests
• Custodian of company drawings, approved plans and compliance certificates
• Work closely with construction managers and workers to ensure the project is completed on time and according to the specified design
Qualifications and Experience
• Must possess pertinent degree/diploma in architecture
• Meticulous and good eye for detail
• Must have excellent people skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of construction and building codes
• Must show strong project management skills and be able to work under tight deadlines
