The vacancies below have arisen in the Ministry ot Health and Child Care. Applications are therefore being invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fl the posts.

Reports to Incinerator Operator.

Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Provide technical support to area of expertise in electrical expertise.
⦁ Troubleshooting on all electrical faults.
⦁ Interpret technical drawing.
⦁ identify electrical spares to be procured.
⦁ Conduct electrical tests to ensure compliance.
⦁ Carryout voltage and earth tests.
⦁ Coordinate the procurement of electrical spares.
⦁ Provide the facilities supervisor with the list of spcres.
⦁ Adherence to the electrical regulations.
⦁ Ensure electrical regulations on SAZ and IEE are adhered to.
⦁ Knowledge of variable speed drives and switchgear.
⦁ sound knowledge on soft starters.

Qualifications:
1. National certificate in Electrical Engineering
Experience and Skills;
1. 5 years’ experience Class 1 Artisan with relevant experience in industrial machinery including incinerator.
2. Experience from similar maintenance assignments.
3. Knowledge of Electrical regulations on industrial machines.
4. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
5. Knowledge of ISO 45001 (OHS 2018) occupational health and safety systems and specific knowledge on bio-hazardous waste.
6. Coordinate procurement of electrical spares for the incinerator.
7. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
