A vibrant Microfinance is looking for a results-driven Loan Officer. The incumbent will be responsible
for;
• Generating new business through marketing, research and sales initiatives
• Vetting clients and recommending appropriate loan product for the clients
• Maintaining closer customer contact and monitor loan use, loan servicing and progress as per
applicant’s business model
• Following up clients in arrears and updating relevant credit files and records
• Monitoring loan book performance
• Attending to all walk-in customers with full query handling
• Ensuring clients’ queries are attended to promptly and efficiently.
• Processing loan applications verifying required documents and making sure they are of the
required standard
• Ensuring client details are captured correctly in the system
• Submit all processed applications to the Disbursement desk timely to ensure that the Company
meets its turnaround time frames
• Receiving and processing payments for all clients
• Balancing Cash Teller account, and updating bank balance tracker for cash received and paid out.
• Competition watch and providing regular feedback to management
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Banking, Finance, or other relevant qualification
• Be highly knowledgeable about Microfinance products and services
• Highly customer focused
• Proven experience in a related industry
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy
• Exceptional customer service skills
