Main Responsibilities/ Job Summary

Plans layout work from oral and written instructions for repair and maintenance of water systems.
Supervises subordinates, inspects the installations and repairs of plumbing works.
Liaises with the Stores person on making orders for materials to be used in carrying out repairs.
Mans the city’s reservoir and the depot.
Monitors Pressure Reducing Valves (P. R. Vs).

Qualifications Requirements

A Skilled Worker Class 1 in the trade of Plumbing/Drain-laying.
National Certificate in Plumbing/Drain-laying.
A clean class 4 driver’s licence.

Experience

At least 3 years experience in a similar environment.
