Applications are invited from self-motivated and energetic candidates to fill in the following opportunity that has arisen in the aviation industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:
– Services and repairs Motor Vehicles in accordance with the instructions from OEM;
– Carries out diagnosis and rectification of faulty vehicles and raise requisitions for parts and or consumables required for the maintenance and repairs required.
– Fully record all maintenance performed on Motor Vehicles to include parts and consumables used;
– Produce reports on maintenance performed and the status of serviceability of motor vehicles;
– Maintain good housekeeping of the working area and observing proper waste disposal procedures.
– Oversee the performance of students on internships and assistants to ensure conformance to prescribed standard operating procedures;
– Adheres to Occupational, Health and Safety requirements.
– Participates in budgeting, planning activities relating to the section;
– Perform components installations such as engines, starters, gearboxes etc.;
– Identify and report operational hazards and perform mitigation as required;
– Inspects motor vehicles for serviceability.

Qualifications and experience required:
– 5 ‘O’ level passes including English, Science and Maths.
– National Certificate in Motor Mechanics (Class 1, Petrol and Diesel Vehicles) – Apprenticeship trained.
– Knowledge of motor vehicle electrics and electronics is an added advantage.
– A Diploma in the related field will be an added advantage.
– Aholderof a class 2 driver’s license.
– Use of diagnostic tools is an added advantage.
– Five (5) years’ experience in the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and buses.
