MAZOWE RDC – SAMANO EXPLORATION AND MINING COMPANY (PRIVATE) LIMITED is seeking qualified personnel for the following vacancies:

• EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST

Required is a Qualified Exploration Geologist with not less than 10 years relevant experience and knowledge of green stone belts geology and mineralization. The incumbent must demonstrate ability to work with various diamond drilling equipment and associated accessories. Be fully conversant with Quality Control & Quality Assurance (QAQC) dictates for JORC and/or SAMREC standards and compliance

Expected Competencies will include:
• Computer literacy and fluency in (ArcGis, Word. Excel. PowerPoint, etc.)
• 3-D software (Datamine/Vulcan)experience will be an added advantage
• Geological field investigations, geological mapping, geological interpretation and modelling
• Exploration programs planning, implementation and management
• Implement exploration standards and procedures including Safety Health Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) issues
• Thorough knowledge of drilling, logging and sampling, trenching, core yard management and associated QAQC
• Competency in understanding, interpreting and plotting IP & Magnetics in relation to identified geological structures down dip and along strike
• Ensure JORC/SAMREC compliance in all exploration activities
• Ability to manage exploration teams and support personnel
• Ability to achieve and maintain a robust/accurate geological database
• Clean class4 driver’s licence
