We are currently seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team in Hwange as a Mine Surveyor Graduate Trainee.
Location: Hwange
Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting surveys, measurements, and geotechnical assessments to ensure accurate mapping of mining areas.
Collaborate with surveying teams to collect vital data for mine planning, design, and development projects.
Utilize surveying equipment and software to analyze, interpret, and report survey data.
Support surveyors in monitoring mine progress, volume calculations, and spatial data management.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with mining regulations at all times.
Continuously develop knowledge of mine surveying principles and practices through on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
Recent graduate with a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mine Surveying, Mining Engineering, or any other related qualification.
Strong knowledge of surveying techniques and instruments, including GPS, total station, and terrestrial laser scanning.
Knowledge of CAD software usage (e.g, AutoCAD) and surveying software.
Ability to work in demanding environments and adapt to changing priorities.
Willingness to travel and relocate to various mining locations as needed.
