Job description
A reputable company in the manufacturing sector is looking for a qualified and experienced candidate to fill in the position of FINANCE MANAGER who will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the financial integrity of the company.

Responsibilities:
Formulate and implement finance strategies covering areas such as working capital management, foreign currency procurement, information systems, timely production of financial reports and accounts, compliance with statutory regulations, and financial controls.
Develop and distribute draft budgets to directors for approval by the Board and coordinate the implementation of annual budgets and long-term business plans.
Regularly review accounting systems and implement internal controls in financial systems.
Implement recommendations provided by internal and external auditors and ensure the proper maintenance of the Asset Register.
Ensure vehicle costing is done in accordance with existing policy.
Provide financial analysis and insights to assist in strategic decision-making processes.
Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as required.
Oversee financial reporting, including the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and legislation.
Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other stakeholders.
Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
Professional qualifications such as CA, CIMA, CIS, or ACCA.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of financial management principles, practices, and procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent knowledge of financial software and systems.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
