DESCRIPTION:A renowned construction company seeks to recruit the following:
Diesel Mechanic
Key Result Areas
• Perform preventative maintenance, and repairs on trucks, light vehicles and yellow equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, pneumatics and auto electrics.
• Determine parts, tools necessary for maintenance and repairs.
• Complete service paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Effective communication with team members.
Minimum Job Requirements/Qualifications
• Apprentice-trained Diesel Mechanic.
• Experience with Yellow earth moving construction machinery and auto electrics an added advantage.
• A minimum of 2 years’ working experience for a construction or mining setup.
• Knowledge in SHEQ Legal Requirements and the Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018) an added advantage.
