The University seeks to recruit applicants with the requisite skills and experience for the
following post in the Faculty of Engineering: –

TECHNICIAN/SENIOR TECHNICIAN (1 POST)

Department of Electronic Engineering)

Applicants must have a National Diploma in Electronic Engineering or a relevant Bachelor’s
Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’
post-qualification experience in the maintenance and repair of Instrumentation and Control
equipment.

DUTIES
The duties and responsibilities of the incumbent will include the following:

Assisting in the Control and Instrumentation Engineering Laboratory.
Assisting the academic staff in the preparation and supervision of Control and Instrumentation Laboratory practicals.
Assisting the Department in the identification and procurement of laboratory equipment and consumables as well as maintenance work.

Loyalty and dedication are essential qualities.
For appointment to the Senior Technician grade, applicants must have a Degree in Electronic
Engineering and at least three years’ post-qualification experience.
