DUTIES

1. To lead and develop all the finance teams and have an overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters including audit systems.
2. Responsible for planning, directing and controlling financials for the organisation. This includes preparing budgets, conducting financial analysis and preparing financial reports, developing and implementing an effective system of accounting.
3. Corporate Finance: managing company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity and acquisition as appropriate.
4. To formulate financial targets and budgets in accordance with the strategy determined by the management.

5. To ensure that all preparations and submission of weekly monthly updates are done timeously and you are to present monthly management accounts and annual financials with recommendations.
6. To review accounts and investigate variances and then set recovery plans.
7. Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met regarding all the company’s financial affairs.
Among other duties

REQUIREMENTS

Degrees in Accounting and Finance & Business Management
Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance / MBA is an added advantage
Any other relevant certificates
Have vast management experience at group company level – minimum of 5 years’ experience
Great communication and leadership skills
Must be of mature age
