Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) is inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, honest and substantially experienced persons for appointment to the above challenging positions which have arisen in the Organization.

QUALITY ASSURANCE SCIENTIST

The applicant will be based at Head Office in Harare and reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES i.

• Coordination and implementation of total quality management system.
• Monitoring the efficient use and optimization of water treatment chemicals and their risk management.
• Researching on new or alternative water treatment technologies.
• Investigating and giving advice on ambient water quality.
• Investigating and giving advice on the efficacy of water treatment chemicals.
• Investigating and giving advice on surface and ground water quality.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

• Natural Sciences Degree in Applied Science, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or equivalent
• A minimum of three years post qualifying experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
