STATION:FALCONAIR (CHARLES PRINCE AIRPORT)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that the air service operates in a safe and reliable manner with regards to aircraft maintenance and engineering
- Ensure that each aircraft being used in providing the air service is airworthy and in every respect serviceable flight
- Ensure that the provisions of the Operations Manual are fully complied with in respect of aircraft maintenance and engineering.
- Ensure that all maintenance and engineering personnel have the appropriate knowledge, qualifications, skills, experience and training to perform or supervise their assigned duties.
- Coordinate daily aircraft scheduling with the Director Flight Operations and maintenance personnel
- Prohibit the use of any unsafe or unreliable aircraft, aircraft component, aircraft engine component or other specified items or equipment
Qualifications and Experience
- Aviation Maintenance license (AMT) with airframe and power plant ratings
- Minimum 3 years maintenance experience including one year of returning aircraft to service in terms of the Civil Aviation Regulations Implementing Standards
