Job Description:

As a Production Manager at Merken, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our production operations. You will be responsible for managing the production team and ensuring optimal efficiency, quality, and safety standards. Your primary goal will be to maximize productivity while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans and strategies to meet production targets and customer demands.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and quality control.
• Coordinate and supervise a team of production staff, ensuring proper training, guidance, and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as R&D, quality control, and supply chain, to ensure seamless production flow.
• Oversee equipment and machinery maintenance, ensuring their proper functioning and minimizing downtime.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and best practices to create a safe working environment.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, optimizing stock management.
• Continuously analyze production data and metrics to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.

Requirements:

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and production planning.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
•  Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
