| KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS | Patient Care and education Stakeholder Relationships Radiation treatment planning & preparation Radiation treatment delivery Quality Control & administration Risk Management Continuous professional development |
| MINIMUM EDUCATION | Relevant Diploma/Degree in Radiography – Radiation Therapy |
| MINIMUM EXPERIENCE | 5 years’ experience in a clinical radiation therapy planning environment |
| PROFFESSIONAL REGISTRATION | Registered as a Therapy Radiographer with Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC) |
| REQUIRED COMPETENCIES | Patient Care, Focus & Service Communication Analytical skills Decision-making Innovation Adaptability Knowledge of rules and regulations governing clinical radiation services Knowledge of oncology equipment, technical requirements, and latest developments Operational and clinical aspects of radiation therapy and oncology Computer proficiency Operation and understanding of Elekta systems.
