Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following positions.
Post: Projects Engineer
Reporting to: Head Technical Services and Business Development

Duties

i. Prepare bills of quantity for proposed designs, for internal costings and cash flow budget projections.
ii. Oversee the execution of all projects, ensuring relevant regulatory compliance throughout the projects lifecycle.
iii. Prepare design concepts, drawings, BOQs, project specifications, and tender documents for projects and make recommendations to the Head of Technical and Business Development.
iv. Review and oversee consultancy and co-development partners’ designs, that includes but not limited to, buildings, roads, stormwater drainage, water, and sewer reticulation.
v. Assist in supervising multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective delivery on the company’s Infrastructure Work Programmes, ensuring that all work complies with set standards of quality and statutory regulations for all in-house projects.
vi. Assist in the identification of tourism-related infrastructure projects to be packaged, financed, and implemented by the Company.
vii. Prepare and present project status reports to the Head of Technical Services and Business Development.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

⦁ Degree in Civil Engineering.
⦁ Postgraduate qualification in Project Management.
⦁ Registration with the Zimbabwe Insitute of Engineers
⦁ At least 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience
