Job Summary

We are looking for SHE Officers to join our team. The SHE Officers will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements. The officers will assess risks, investigate incidents and injuries, and advise management on how to reduce risks and maintain a safe working environment.

Duties And Responsibilities

– Responsible for regularly educating mine personnel on safety standards and safe work practices,
– Participate in the formulation of mine safety rules and regulations,
– Conduct production inspections to stop non-compliance to set safety standards,
– Conduct risk assessments and audits of the organization’s facilities and processes,
– Understand changes in labour safety conditions in workplaces,
– Discover unsafe conditions, and hazards and take timely measures to eliminate them,
– Complete various security basic ledger records,
– Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement,
– Investigate incidents and injuries and provide detailed reports of findings,
– Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements,
– Assist in the completion of occupational health and environmental protection work in mine production,
– Report to the leader for major accidents that endanger workers’ production.

Qualifications And Experience

– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a SHE Officer,
– Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or any related qualification,
– Medical report,
– Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, and best practices,
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships,
– Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
