The University seeks to recruit applicants with the requisite qualifications, skills, and experience for
the following post in the Faculty of Environmental Science: –
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a relevant first degree in Information Technology/Computer Studies or
equivalent plus at least five years post-qualification experience or a Master’s Degree in Computer
Science/Information Technology or equivalent plus at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:-
Repairing and maintaining computer equipment in the Faculty of Environmental Science
Computer Laboratory selecting and purchasing equipment and consumables;
ensuring the Security and safety of Laboratory Assets;
maintaining and controlling the inventory of Faculty Office assets and consumables and
setting up and installing equipment and software in Laboratories and offices within the
Faculty of Environmental Science;
providing first-line Information Technology related support to staff members and students
in the Faculty.
Good technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and administrative skills are essential. Good
interpersonal communication and student service skills are required.
