ASSISTANT PLANT OPERATOR –
MABVUKU DEPOT
SUMMARY
The position is responsible for assisting in monitoring the product interface in the pipeline, pipeline receipts, and inter-tank transfers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⦁ Assists in collecting product samples for measurement of density
⦁ Assists in monitoring transfer and interface of the product on pumped volumes
⦁ Assists in taking dips and maintaining records
⦁ Assists loading bay processes
⦁ Any other duties which may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time
ATTRIBUTES
⦁ Unquestionable integrity
⦁ Good communication skills (oral and written)
⦁ Ability to work with minimum supervision
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
⦁ Appreciation of workplace health, safety, and environmental practices
⦁ Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
⦁ City and Guilds Certificate in Process Plant Operation/ NC in Process Technology
⦁ 5 “O” Levels including English Language and Mathematics
⦁ At least one (1) year relevant working experience in the oil industry.
