Duties and responsibilities

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Prepare technical reports, data summaries, and other technical and regulatory documents as needed
Provide technical input for management
Competent IT skills in particular Ms. Office
Applicants should preferably have a tertiary qualification in metallurgy or mineral processing
B-tech degree in metallurgy
A thorough knowledge of mineral processing principles, as related to chrome ore processing, is essential
Knowledge of the government regulations relating to metallurgical plants and environmental issues is required.
Mature interpersonal skills relating to all levels of operating and maintenance staff, including head office staff will be an essential attribute
A minimum of 10 years experience on an operating metallurgical plant, with 5 years at the management level, is a minimum requirement
