Position: Investment Accounting Associate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
⦁ Completing all daily reviews of exception management tools for accounting
⦁ Responsible to deliver accurate investment reporting
⦁ Completing all quarterly/annual NAIC reconciliations and reporting in compliance with European Statutory guidelines
⦁ Analyzing accounting data and providing a commentary regarding results.
⦁ Assessing risk and identifying key controls relevant to the audit objectives
⦁ Evaluating agency, contractor, and provider compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies, generally accepted accounting principles, and other relevant criteria.
⦁ Evaluating whether HHS agency and contractor resources are being used efficiently and effectively.
⦁ Completes audit assignments in compliance OIG Audit policies and procedures.
⦁ knowledge of HHS and DFPS agency programs.. ”
⦁ Analyze drivers of program performance and communicate results to the leadership team and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
⦁ Understanding of investment accounting product mechanics including debt instruments, equities, and derivatives
Minimum 1 year of confirmed experience in investments/market s with a degree in a relevant field.
