QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Interested candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:
At least 5 ‘O’ levels including the English language
Higher National Diploma in Water and Wastewater Management or equivalent
3 years or more experience in the Water or Wastewater treatment fields in a supervisory capacity.
A mature attitude towards work.
The ability to work with minimum supervision

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties;
Supervised of Biological Nutrient Plant Operators, Plant Attendants, Handymen, and General Hands at Wastewater Treatment Plants, Raw Sewage Pump Stations, and Grit Channels.
Monitoring the quality of raw sewage and treated wastewater and all other treatment processes.
Manning of wastewater treatment units.
Carry out laboratory tests to determine the characteristics of the raw sewage and efficiency of the wastewater treatment plants.
Carry out preventive maintenance and repair of pumps, equipment and other wastewater treatment units.
Drafting duty rosters for shift workers.
Routine compilation of operational records like wastewater statistics, daily and monthly time sheets.
Safe keeping of works equipment in the storerooms.
Any other duties assigned by Deputy Waste Water Superintendent
