Willowvale Motor Industries (Private) Ltd is looking to fill the position of Manufacturing Engineer which has arisen.
Job brief
The company is looking for a qualified, experienced, and competent person to direct, control, and oversee motor vehicle assembly operations.
More specifically, he/ she will be required to coordinate production and technical activities to achieve the objectives of the company.
Responsibilities
Sets and monitors systems and procedures for efficient operational control of the department
Coordinates and submits annual operating and capital budgets
Controls operating costs
Monitors assembly activities to ensure production targets are meant within acceptable quality parameters
Authorises production programs in conjunction with the marketing requirements
Monitors in-plant damages in terms of costs and replacements
Monitors all technical and engineering processes and procedures
Ensures plant and equipment maintenance programs are in place and implemented
Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
Requirements
At least five years post qualification
Proven managerial experience in a motor vehicle assembly environment for at least three years
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
BSc (electrical, mechanical, process or manufacturing) engineering
MSc/MBA will be advantageous
