Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill vacancies that have arisen at the Zimbabwe National Defence University (ZNDU) in Harare, Zimbabwe. Applicants should have traceable academic/practical experience in the relevant areas of expertise.
Faculty Of Social Sciences (FSS): Department of Political Science.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Design, prepare and develop courses, modules and teaching materials.
- Deliver lectures and tutorials.
- Develop and implement new methods of teaching to reflect changes in research.
- Assess students’ coursework.
- Set, mark and moderate examinations and assessments.
- Supervise or assist with supervision of undergraduate, taught graduate (Masters) or research graduate (MPhil/PhD) students.
- Carry out research and publish research articles or produce other research outputs in line with personal objectives agreed in the Staff review process.
- Participate and speak at workshops and seminars.
- Attend staff meetings and prepare meeting minutes when required.
- Any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Experience
- (Masters Level)
- Should possess Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB), BSc Pol Sci, MSc in IR/ Masters in Law (LLM) and PhD IR.
- Teaching experience in related will be an added advantage.
