Job Summary
This is a senior position reporting to the General Manager at Hwange Power Station .The position is strategic to the Station as it manages financial activities of the company in a manner that assures profitability, solvency and growth.
FINANCE MANAGER (1 POSITION)

Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepares weekly, monthly and annual cash flow forecasts order to cater for funding gaps.
- Develops appropriate capital structure for the Station and recommends to the Finance Director.
- Prepares the Annual Capital, Revenue and Expenditure budget guidelines in accordance with the corporate plan.
- Evaluates Generation Assets Privatisation proposals.
- Manages the station’s procurement processes to allow the company achieve cost savings.
- Reports on compliance with relevant statutes, legislation and standards.
- Prepares project guidelines to ensure that projects invested on enhance shareholder value.
- Reviews monthly conciliations of bank accounts, payroll accounts and petty cash.
Qualifications And Experience
- 5 O’levels including Mathematics and English.
- A degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent
- A Post Graduate qualification such as an MBL/MBA or equivalent
- Full membership of a recognised professional institution
- 8 years post graduate experience of which 6 should be at a senior level
