DRIVER/ MESSENGER
Job Title: Driver
Department: Administration
Accountable: Deputy Registrar
Responsibilities
- Driving Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe staff and members to various places for business transactions.
- Driving inspection teams to various places country wide for purpose of carrying out inspections of training institutions.
- Distributing Council correspondence to different places in and around Harare city center.
- Collecting and posting mail.
- Assisting in the banking issues
- identifying motor vehicle technical faults and reporting to the responsible official.
- Photocopying Council documents as and when required
- Assisting with filling documents as and when required
- Reporting any machine fault to the relevant supervisor, pending further liaison with servicing agencies for repairs.
- Assisting the Registry with opening mails and dispatching.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications
- Five (5) 0-level subjects including English
- Clean class two (2) and class three (3) driver’s licenses
- Valid Defensive Driving Certificate
- Five (5) years of continuous driving experience in public companies of reputable standing
- Hardworking and honest with no criminal record
- Thirty-five (35) years of age or above
- Excellent time management, observation, and communication skills
