Vacancy : Borehole Drilling Operator
Reporting to Civil Engineering Technician
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possession of Drilling Rig Operation Certificate added advantage
- At least 35 years and above
- At least 2 years experience hand on drilling Rigs
- A class 2 Driver’s License is a must
- 5 O Levels including Mathematics
- The individual must have safety, communication & supervisory skills
- No criminal record
Job Description
- Operates the draw-work during drilling activities and complex maneuvers
- Assist rig down/rig up operations by coordinating and controlling
- General drilling rigs operations
- Driving council vehicles
- Ensure that all reporting routines are followed, and that all equipment related paperwork are carried out
- Fill up daily drilling report for the activities performed and reporting to Civil Engineering Technician
- Update the pipe tally book and draft dimensioned drawings of the equipment ru in the well
- Receives instructions for drilling parameters from Civil Engineering Technician
- Any other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor
