Trojan Nickel Mine is a division of Trojan Nickel Mine Limited, which is a 100% owned subsidiary of Bindura Nickel Corporation Limited. We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the above position which has arisen in our organisation.
Job Summary
Finance Director Reporting to the Managing Director and the Audit and Risk Committee of the Board of Directors, the incumbent will have a key role in overseeing and leading all aspects of the organisation’s financial operations, including the maintenance of accounting systems, internal control systems, reporting to shareholders and fund raising.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Managing the financial planning and strategy of the organisation.
- Performing financial analysis and generating reports on the performance of the organisation to the Board of Directors and Shareholders.
- Overseeing the audit and preparation of the organization’s financial statements in line with International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Developing and implementing accounting policies.
- Developing, evaluating, managing, and reducing the impact of potential risks to the organisation
- Managing cash-flows and arranging appropriate fund-raising instruments.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Accounting or Finance.
- Must be a Chartered Accountant.
- Master’s Degree in any Commercial field, will be a distinct advantage.
- At least 5 years working experience at Executive or Director level in a mining environment.
