Job Summary
Role Profile: AFC Insurance Company, a subsidiary of AFC Holdings seeks to recruit a Business Development Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the insurance company’s business development and expansion plans with the main objective of driving the company’s revenue. The role entails identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies in line with the approved strategic plan.
Duties And Responsibilities
Contributing to the development and refinement of the insurance strategy to ensure effective internal alignment and competitive market positioning.
Developing strategies for growing the client base across the country and beyond.
Exploring business expansion opportunities by monitoring and keeping abreast of emerging trends In the market.
Contributing to new product development, feasibility analysis and driving successful launch of the same.
Driving the company’s digitalisation process through Innovative initiatives and ideas.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relations with professional counterparts and external parties to collect market intelligence and identify new business opportunities.
Co-ordinating key internal and external stakeholder groups, Including existing clients to test assumptions, and define new product requirements and specifications.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s degree In Business Administration, Marketing. Finance, or related field.
5 years of relevant work experience in a similar environment Proven Business Development, Sales, or Marketing experience with ability to deliver high quality presentations.
Exceptional management skills with strong business acumen, communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
