SUMMARY

Reports to: Parts Manager
DUTIES
Achieve sales targets through effectively selling parts and prospecting of new business
Up selling of parts
Identify replacement parts required according to inspection of old parts, vehicle customer requests or customer’s descriptions to determine what part is needed
Receive and fill telephone orders for parts
Prepare quotations requested by retail customer, fleet owners and workshops
Issue and track parts sales quotations and record lost sales on monthly basis
Taking inventory of stock in storage and if necessary on shelves
Assist with data gathering for parts sales and market intelligence database
Build and maintain effective relationships with both existing and prospective customers
Provide service technicians with parts and required
REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 O levels plus a diploma in marketing or sales discipline or related
2 years experience in Sales and Marketing
Good communication and interpersonal skills
2 Years experience in the Motor Industry
At least class 4 driver’s licence
Excellent customer service
Good social skills to communicate at all levels
Good computer skills and knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
