SUMMARY
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions which have arisen within Murewa Rural District Council, Head Office
The Procurement Clerk will be under the Procurement Management Unit (PMU) and reporting to the Procurement Officer.
DUTIES
Processing of procurement requisitions for the replenishment of inventory levels in the Stores Management system;
Preparing purchase orders and sending copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
Comparing suppliers’ bills with bids and purchase orders to verify accuracy.
Preparing, maintaining, and reviewing purchasing files, reports and price lists.
Comparing prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
Stores duties.
Any other duties as directed by the seniors.
REQUIREMENTS
A Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management, Logistics, Supply Chain
Five Ordinary level passes including English and Mathematics.
At least one year experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics or stores administration.
Valid police clearance
