Job Summary
BZ seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation(M&E) Intern to assist in providing technical support in the implementation of M&E activities of the Siyakha model. The M&E Intern will be responsible for assisting the implementing team to monitor project progress and project activities on a regular basis.

Duties And Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance to project staff on implementing the M&E plan
• Participate in designing templates and verifying data collection tools
• Participate in data analysis to determine progress achieved
• Assist in tracking the project’s output and outcome level results on a periodic basis,
in close coordination with the project’s implementing team
• Review implementing partner monitoring reports and progress reports
• Support M&E related activities including training of staff members on M&E concepts, skills, and tools
• Compile best practice stories and lessons learnt
• Ensure documentation of all M&E related virtual and in-person meetings
• Ensure physical and virtual filing of all M&E related Siyakha model tools
• Provide M&E related guidance in progress check meetings
• Assist the project team to prepare periodic technical support reports of the project

Qualifications And Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a degree in a relevant discipline.
• Competent in using computer packages including Excel will be an added advantage.
• Able to accurately undertake basic administrative tasks
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural context.
• Ability to work and cope with strict deadlines.
• Highly motivated with a keen interest in development work and is willing to learn
