JOB TITLE: GENERAL HAND – GROUNDS AND LANDSCAPING (3 POSTS)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Central Services and Amenities.
- Grounds keeping and landscaping.
- Machine operation (Brush cutting, Rider Mower or other mower, fumigation of venues).
- Pick up litter, sweep hard surfaces, rake leaves, weed pavers and clean storm water drains.
- Remove dead, damaged or unwanted plants.
- Prune and trim hedges and shrubs.
- Propagate and plant flowers, trees and flower beds.
- Water lawns, mixed borders and gardens.
- Monitor and maintain plant health, disease and pest control.
- Maintain allocated tools, equipment, and detergents in safe and usable condition
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance.
- Possession of ‘O’ levels passes will be an added advantage.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Ability to multitask with a good state of health and physic.
- Mature person who can work with minimum supervision.
- Good time management skills.
- A person respectful and dependable.
- A team player.
- Knowledge of basic handyman skills.
