Job Summary
To provide advice, support and ensure availability of resources to individuals and families to help them solve their problems. This position requires the successful candidate to work with specific groups of clients, including children, the elderly and families in crisis, and help them to solve the problems they’re facing. The successful candidate must be a problem solver where clients maybe in vulnerable or difficult situations and be able to understand their viewpoints
Duties And Responsibilities
• Advocate for and develop plans to improve clients’ well-being
• Research and refer clients to community resources
• Work with individuals, families or groups to understand their needs
• Identify those in need
• Help people of all life stages to cope with and solve everyday problems
• Respond to clients in crisis situations
• Work in a variety of public and private organizations
• Observe client behaviour, assess needs and assist them to live life better
Qualifications And Experience
A Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field.
