Duties And Responsibilities
Role:
Manage the financial health of the organisation to promote success and growth
Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance department including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures
Review company and market financial status and create forecasts to identify risks and opportunities and create strategic business plans based on the analysis
Speak, write and present information clearly to explain financial data to executives and make recommendations on decisions related to the company’s finances
Develop prudent financial plans to determine how to pay off liabilities, increase profit and grow the business
Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliations
Monitor and enforce compliance with statutory bodies as well as financial reporting standards and legal financial practices
Assist with cash flow forecasting
Collaborate with other departments to achieve monetary goals
Mediate between the organisation, employees, stakeholders, shareholders and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences
Successful candidates will be required to provide a police clearance
Qualifications And Experience
Minimum Requirements:
Masters degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar (ACCA – Strategic Professional Qualification)
At least 5 years of proven work experience in a similar role
Proficient computer skills, particularly spreadsheet software
Criminal Free Record
Clean Class 4 Driver’s License
